What an HVAC website needs to win more quote requests

People rarely browse HVAC websites for fun. They arrive because an air conditioner has stopped working, a heatwave is coming or they're planning an install, and they usually compare two or three businesses quickly on a phone. The website's job is to win that comparison.
Make it fast on a phone
If the site is slow to load on mobile data, a lot of visitors go back to the search results before they see your name. Speed isn't a technical nicety for HVAC businesses; it's the first filter.
A quote form that takes under a minute
Ask only what you need to call someone back: name, phone, suburb and the type of job. Every extra field loses people. Put the form, or a clear button to it, near the top of every page.
Click-to-call everywhere
Many HVAC customers would rather call. Keep the phone number visible in the header on every page, and make it a tap-to-call link on mobile.
Show exactly where you work
Customers want to know you cover their area before they enquire. List your service areas clearly, and if you operate across more than one city, structure the site around each region. Airomania covers Sydney, Melbourne and the ACT from one site built that way.
Prove you're qualified
Show the licences and credentials customers expect, such as refrigerant handling licences issued by the Australian Refrigeration Council and electrical licences where relevant. List the brands and systems you install and service. Put genuine reviews next to your quote buttons, where people are deciding.
Plan content around the seasons
Searches shift with the weather: cooling and repairs as summer arrives, heating as winter sets in. Pages and updates that match what people are searching for at that time of year give you more chances to appear.
